Sunday, Jan. 30 (2011) - Day 17 - Still have hair ... barely!

Holy Bathair! Hair's falling out by the handfuls. We all know, this will be a very temporary condition.
I will have a new hair style by Tuesday - a cueball.
Don't poke me with a pool cue.

This is what I pulled out of the drain this morning. And I thought my dog Alice Ivy could shed.

  1. So it practically just happens overnight? I'm so glad you already have your cute wig and all those adorable hats ready to go. Praying for you and admiring you for hanging on to that great sense of humor and determination to look on the bright side!

  2. So it's finally started huh? Hi Megan, I'm just catching up on your journal. I've been mostly off line lately due to working so many long hours. Your hat pictures are all adorable as is your pixie cut, and the shirt looks great on you. I'm glad to see you going at this with such good humor, optimism and up lifting spirit. I have formed a team to do the Chicago Y-Me Breast Cancer walk on Mothers Day...3 miles. Your story as well as my cousin's wife have made me realize that I can't take my good health for granted and in that spirit, I can combine a goal of walking 3 miles (so far I can go 2 without collapsing)...with helping to raise funds for the cause and honoring those whom I love who have been hurt by this terrible disease. My cousin and his wife will walk with us as well as the rest of our family and some of Colleen's friends and their kids. I will be thinking about you.

  3. Holy bat-hair Batgirl! That's a lot of hair!
